Two friends watched over the nest with delight
Soon three little eggs would begin their young lives
As their time to hatch was about to arrive!
This original watercolour illustration is my ode to spring and the new life emerging at this time. It is a truly inspirational time of year.
The apple blossom fairy’s dress and wings have been painted using metallic watercolours to create an ethereal shimmer, and the nest has been highlighted with liquid gold paint.
Created on A4 300gsm watercolour paper. Mount not included, but if framing is required please get in touch via email for details.
