Selkie Survivor Original Artwork

The Selkie is a creature I always feel drawn to return to.

This particular Selkie has reclaimed her stolen skin and returned to her wild, watery home beneath the crashing waves, never to be tricked again.  She will only ever answer the call of the moon.

The Selkie and moon have been painted with professional watercolour paints, and the ornate border has been painted with varying shades of gold metallic paint.

Painted on 300 gsm cold pressed Arches watercolour paper (23 x 31cm).  The image size is approximately 13.5 x 23cm.
