Original Illustration Framed Mussel Study

I absolutely adore the humble Mussel.  Its easy to overlook these beautiful shells when strolling on the beach, however so many have stunning patterns and hues of blues and purples if you pause to study a few!

This is a reprodution of a shell I found on our local Wirral coastline, with the latin name written in pencil beneath.  Painted in metallic and japanese watercolours.  A perfect gift for any beach comber or yourself!

The illustration is mounted in a 12.5 x 12.5cm white frame, and looks lovely resting on a shelf, but would be equally at home adorning a wall.
